- Symptom triad (3D`s):
① discomfort

- Diagnosis: IVP - bizarre calices (spider deformity)
CT
- Complication: pyelonephritis, infection of cyst, bleeding
- Treatment: conservative
5. Simple Cyst
- acquired, most common renal cystic disease
- usually unilateral and single
- common in lower pole
- usually incidental finding
- carcinoma may grow on the cyst (9%)
- Treatment: observation
